Hair down!”  It embraces the weekend chic look, which includes all-in-one Lip and Cheek Colour Pots, Nail Lacquer, Prep + Prime Highlighter, Studio Fix Mascara, Mineralize Skinfinish and the 187 Brush.  Effortless and easy, these lightweight, barely-there formulas feel like you’re wearing nothing at all.  In shades including:  Weekend Getaway, Lazy Sunday, Out for Fun, Relax, it’s MAC – but don’t slack, this collection is only available for a limited time.

Summer is upon us and with that means fresh, vibrant, and colorful products are on the market. One cosmetics line in particular that caught my eye is the SUMMERTIME DE CHANEL 2012 Collection. I’ve noticed with Chanel you get your bang for the buck. It’s a line that consistently serves its promise of providing durable, high-end products. The theme for this collection is inspired by “The warmth of the sun”, which means it contains warm color palettes and products including a luminous bronzing powder in sable beige and sable rose, Sable - Emouvant in the eye shadow duo, Rouge Coco Shine lipstick and lip gloss in a nude and tangerine shade, and a sheer illuminating fluid.

The illuminating fluid is described as a weightless liquid that instantly brightens skin and evens out skin tone. It contains light-reflecting pigments that provide radiance and luminosity. MAC Extended Play Lash Mascara | Summer 2012

For over twenty years MAC has been a staple in the cosmetic industry and has cultivated a reputation for being one of the most highly sought after cosmetic companies for both consumers and makeup artists. MAC is known for consistently releasing fresh and inventive products, including their most recent addition, Extended Play Lash Mascara. This new lash extending mascara is equipped with a petite slim-line brush that lightly places a glossy coat of mascara to lengthen and separate lashes.  The packaging is classic and simple – not intimidating nor flashy – like some of the more recent mascara releases.

This mascara creates a soft, natural curl without the thick, clumpy, and flaky appearance that most “volume and lash extending” mascaras seem to create.  As this is a Summer mascara, MAC made sure the Extended Play Lash Mascara is also smudge resistant and will last for up to 16 hours.  This product retails at $15.00 USD and is now available at all MAC locations.
